BFL TOP TEN - AT THE HALF WAY POINT OF THE SEASON
# 1 Pittsburgh Steelers At the midway point coach Donnie W. has the Steelers on pace for a serious Superbowl bid.  After taking Pittsburgh #2 in the BFL Draft
16-2, 2-0 back in September DW has shown he made the right choice during the regular season.  Can he continue his winning ways throughout.
The Steelers steel curtain defense will help him along the way as they lead their division by 7 games in the North.
# 2 Tennessee Titans Last years Rookie of the Year winner has come into this season with a vengeance after being knocked out of the playoffs in the first round
13-2, 1-0 last year.  After an impressive record last year coach Mookie knows that winning in the BFL during the regular season means nothing if
you don't continue it through the Playoffs.  With a potent defense this year things may be different.
# 3 Indianapolis Colts This years Rookie of the Year front runner has shown that he is for real taking out some of the big names in the BFL to post one of the top
15-2, 1-0 records in the league.  D-Ball is his knickname and he has overcome a few close games to push the Titans for the AFC South Division.
# 4 Washington Redskins The BFL 2002 Champion Cory is looking impressive in a division that features 3 of the BFL's top ballers and a Conference that has the last
15-3, 2-0 5 Champions in Dis Dru, "X", Fruitman, and Winkdawg.  Sitting atop the NFC with the best record has a lot of meaning to it but will only
serve as motivation for everyone he faces the rest of the season.  Thus far Cory has answered every challenge with an explosive offense.
# 5 Chicago Bears Coach Jamie has the Bears playing at a very high level holding the tie breaker with the Packers from their earlier meeting. With his normal
14-4, 2-0 potent running game and a new found aerial assault Jamie is looking to make a run at the NFC North Division title and possibly the top seed
in the NFC.
# 6 Oakland Raiders The Raiders have won in spurts this year pulling off some spectacular comebacks and close game heroics.  Now seemingly through the
14-4, 1-0 rough part of their schedule coach Jon B. has his eyes set on the AFC's #1 seed with big games still to be played by Indy and Tennessee.
With a 5 game lead on the Chiefs it appears that Oakland may be on their way to a division title in the West.
# 7 Green Bay Packers The Packers are having a great season this year playing inspiring defense and putting up incredible numbers on the ground.  Locked in a
14-4, 2-1 battle for first in the NFC North with the Bears and losing the head-to-head first match-up means coach Vee can't have any slip ups along
the way.  GB still have a tough schedule remaining but Fruitman is no stranger to close division races.
# 8 Philadelphia Eagles Last Years BFL Champion Dis Dru had a shaky start to the season losing 3 games early.  Now that the schedule has given way a little the
12-5, 1-1 Eagles have gotten their offense in gear and is blistering opponents with lopsided victories.  Still a long road ahead Dis Dru appears ready
and focused getting back to the Championship game to defend his title.  A tough feat for anyone with the talent of the league this year.
# 9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers It's been a few years since the 5 time BFL Champion has hoisted the Harps Trophy but with Tampa Bay and their vaunted defense this could
13-5, 2-1 prove to be an exciting year for Winkdawg.  After a poor start the Bucs have begun to put up outrageous numbers on offense took over the
#1 spot in the NFC South.  With 2001 Champ "X" only two games back and holding the tie breaker,  the Bucs can ill afford  to slow down.
# 10 New York Giants After going undefeated the first few weeks of the season the loose balls and drive killing drops and penalties have gone against D.C. and the
10-5, 1-1 Giants.  Still New York is in 3rd place in the NFC East and pending make up games that are outstanding is tied with the Eagles for 2nd.
Can coach D.C. find some consistency in his offense and make a run at Cory and Dis Dru.  It will be 1 to watch.
