The BFL draft started with a flurry of picks with people grabbing teams at a record rate. Many of them too quickly if you ask me. It was good to see all the guys coming together for another season of BFL Football. Many of which I had not seen at all for a few months. Donnie Wilson set the atmosphere for a great draft with food and all the football gear he had on display. Now, it was just a matter of pulling you pick, and drafting you team for the 2008 Season.

Now let us talk about some of those picks. For this season, we will look at winners and losers.

The Winners are…………………….

Chat with the 2nd pick able to pick the best team on the game Jacksonville has everything you want this year big wide receivers and a couple of speedy wide outs. A Mobile QB with a strong arm and an outstanding Offensive line great secondary and Defensive line, throw in their playbook and you have the number one team sorry Dallas and San Diego.

Wink Dawg…Many brothers had the Chargers as the number 1 team on the game and for good reason they have weapons, and they have LT and they are far better than any team in their division. To get the number one regarded team at 3 is good pick. The team fits his running style and having played the 3-4 last year he should be ready defensively.

DC There is no question the Cleveland Browns are the most dangerous team on the game. They have offensive firepower not seen in Madden. They are very hard to defend with 3 great WR’S and a tight end that is really a large wide receiver. Many People say they don’t have a good Defense but DC plays good D with any team. I always say good Offensive players should take the best Defensive team available the same for good Defensive players find the most explosive offensive team you can find, DC did just that.

Kwame The no fear factor Kwame jumped into a division with 2 heavy weights in the BFL Mino and Dru. Many guys were scared to take a top 3 team like the New York football giants not Kwam he says Dru is in his division and had this message for all the players in the division GET SOME……

Miller How does a guy who says he retires sells his system and stops playing the game end up with one of the top teams in the game with the 19th pick. Simple your are the Fruitman and nothing shakes you steady that is what you talk about don’t worry just keep it steady. Miller got a team he had some success with in recent years and they are loaded again this year. He should cause some problems.

KA while I would love to see KA take the Ravens a purely defensive team I really like this pick I wrestled with taking this team myself but I wanted to lab with DC this year and it works better when you are in different conferences. The Texans are very talented and have an outstanding playbook. Super Mario is just that unblockable is the term for this guy many of you will see that as the season goes on. KA will have these boys ready

Come opening night.

Now from the what was he thinking dept…..

Dru Drew with the number one pick did not choose the number one team most people had Dallas 3 at best. We all understand the T.O factor Dru may want to forget the last time he had T.O he lost him in the season and he was not available for the playoffs. That may not happen this year. I am not sure about the 3-4 the other wide outs and the SS/FS play and when you are picking 1 you have to be sure.

Donnie W what made this guy fall in love with a 71 overall team nobody knows I know the Raiders have the worlds greatest secondary and the have 2 great backs blah blah blah

But the are still 71 overall and it’s a reason for that. Having played with this team last year I can tell you they are flawed and we will see just how much at the end of the year.

Kstyles- While I am from Chicago you will just have to love the Bears or be from the city to pick them they have some flaws on the game 1. Being the QB take your pick shoot me in the head or stab me in the back either way your end up dead. ( Rex or Kyle) You can’t pick 12th and go home and say I have to get a QB you have to have one when picking 12th poor QB While the Bears have Mega D and he will need it in that division I don’t know if the QB can carry him to the top of the heap..

RL here is the example of why you should not fall in love with a team everybody told him that these guys would not be able to cover the wide outs, Hester, Berrian, Williams, Johnson do we need to go on. However, he fell in love and when a man is in love what you can tell him other than I told you she was not any good. In another division GB would be great in the NFC North they will be chopped liver. You can’t hide slow corners ask DC (last years playoff game with Corey)

Marcus here is example 2 of I am in love with that team. You can’t take the 49ers with the Texans, Broncos and Bucs left on the board. Unless of course you are in love I have heard all the things about love. Love will make you do wrong, Love should have brought you home last night. Love will make a grown man cry. I think you will see some crying from Marcus this year because of what he passed on maybe he likes the team colors there has to be a reason for picking this team.
